30 years of the bottle cellar seminar - an industry meeting with a view to the future

The 30th Bottle Cellar Seminar took place at Lindenkeller Freising from May 20 to 21, 2025. Specialists, experts and interested parties from the brewing and beverage industry came together to discuss the latest developments, pioneering technologies and practical experiences. A special highlight was the guided tour of the FACIT technical center with a modern, modular bottling plant. The traditional evening event in the Braustüberl was opened with an inspiring keynote speech by Prof. Dr. H.-C. Langowski, a renowned expert in packaging technology.

The presentations covered a wide range of topics. Among other things, the report by the Zwettl private brewery on its spectacular “beer pipeline” - a pipe bridge that transports up to 150,000 liters a day across a main road - generated a great deal of interest. Other contributions dealt with innovative line concepts for small-batch and hot filling (Sidel), the revolutionary Dynafill technology from Krones and practice-oriented approaches to efficiency monitoring for new systems (Dr. Tobias Voigt).

The anniversary seminar impressively demonstrated how lively the exchange of ideas is in the industry - and how important it remains to think and break new ground together.n.
